Bill, I am not suggesting you need to &^%* unlock the *&^&$# radio every *&^%$ time you want to %$#* play radio... I am suggesting a way to make it so LIDS at club meetings or *&^% ham operators at Field Day don't do something they should not do... agn, just like a cell or smart phone... that's all... Matt, I will look into the other settings, I was not aware of that... TU

I sure hope not. If your worried about someone accessing you radio, put a lock on the door. All we need is to have to 'unlock' the @#$% radio every
time we want to speak.

Subject: [Elecraft] PIN for K3??

has the possibility of "locking" the K3 so it can not transmit, or perform any of it's functions without entering a PIN been considered... I know that locking the VFO's is possible by simply pushing the LOCK key, I am suggesting disabling the radio and enabling it with a PIN....like a cell phone... I think this would be a good thing to have... Just my 2 cents
