Jim,
You can imbed switch actions into macros, but not the same switch that
the macro is assigned to - that will result in a continuous loop.

Interesting, I have seen many examples that do this sort of thing, and
they all have the switch parameter imbedded in them. They also do the
assign to PF1/PF2.
This macro did once work. I can't say why, but it did. Guess it
doesn't matter now.
I don't do many macros, but I like to learn new things and really try
to exploit the great features on this wonderful piece of gear. Best
radio I've had in over 50 years!

old to learn something new.
