Good Evening,
The sun is setting much earlier now. All those extra hours of light during the summer let me get outside after dinner. That is no longer true. I did step out onto the deck during dusk and had a doe watch me. The red of the setting sun and her coat had much the same hue; it was only her shape which made her show up. Once her shape resolved I said hello and she wandered off. Propagation has been decent to good this week. There was some fading but the signals were so loud they were easy to copy through the dips. Thunderstorms were present too; with an unusual one passing over my house. I heard the rumbles and unhooked antennas. But as usual the cloud to ground lightning was limited to the Columbia River valley north of me though there was cloud to cloud activity near me.

Please join us tomorrow afternoon and evening.
