Yes, the ribbon cable is routed in the
proper manner per Elecraft
recomendations.

Have you tried re-dressing the ribbon
cable routing inside the P3? That is
an important item. Check the P3
assembly manual to make certain the
cables are routed in the proper
manner.

discussed in detail. When I tune to
certain frequencies, I will get a
"blip" on the screen that is 5-6 dB
above the noise and I have the
classic artifact that is ~3 kHz wide
and 4-5 dB above the noise floor,
that is just below the tuned
frequency. I have the ribbon cable
dressed to the LHS of the chassis and
the coax on the RHS (when looking at
the P3 display).
