I noticed today that the front panel of my K3/100 SN 1502 with the newer DSP board seems much warmer to the touch than before. With the rig on and having not transmitted for over an hour the PA temp is 30C while the FP temp is 34C. Room temp is 22.7C. I have never seen this before. The rig is working fine as far as I can tell. I recently loaded the latest Beta firmware 4.83 but otherwise have made no changes. Have I just not noticed in the over five and a half years I've owned the rig or should I worry about this? Or am I just getting old and can't remember? :)
