For the "1." problem, re-do the Transmit Gain Calibration, and be
certain to include the mW calibration.
As for the PTT not coming active when in transverter state, I have no
immediate answer, but suggest you contact K3support.

fine. I have a cable connected to KEY OUT and the transverter.
Using VOX and SSB with my Henry 2KD-5 works perfect.
