Thanks, Mike WØVTT, the problem is resolved! Mike asked if I had checked the firmware, which I had previously and had determined earlier that I had the latest version [05.67]. Thinking it couldn't hurt to reinstall it anyway, I did, and that solved all issues! Now everything works as it should.
Thanks to all who spent time and effort trying to get to the solution.
