Thanks, Mike WØVTT, the problem is resolved! Mike asked if I had checked
the firmware, which I had previously and had determined earlier that I had
the latest version [05.67]. Thinking it couldn't hurt to reinstall it
anyway, I did, and that solved all issues! Now everything works as it
should.

Thanks to all who spent time and effort trying to get to the solution.
Dunno what the problem was, but since it is all electronic stuff, anything
could have gone wrong.
