One man's spam is another man's, er, you get the idea. I personally enjoy getting email advertising ham radio equipment. I do not care to get messages about ways to increase the size of various body parts.

I think, though, that the only correct approach for people selling things is the following: never send an advertisement to someone who has not explicitly indicated to you that he wants to receive such advertisements.

Reflectors like this are a gray area in which it's not so obvious what to do. By joining, I indicate that I'm interested in Elecraft products. Does this also apply to accessories specifically designed for Elecraft radios? My guess is yes, if the messages are not excessive. However the final decision is up to the list manager, who will probably tell us to end this thread soon!
