If you're using a computer, the application could potentially send
commands to the K3 to select different TX audio sources in real time.
We're working with software developers and adding new remote control
commands as needed.

There is one PTT line inside the radio. Thus, the K3 has no way of
knowing if you pressed a PTT button on your mic, a footswitch, or
the
computer pressed it for you via DTR or RTS. You specify to the K3
which
of three possible sources (front panel mic, rear panel mic, or
line) it
should use for Tx audio, and it uses that source.
