Hello list,
as I am waiting for my K3/10 I am thinking about some personal
modifications.
Maybe somebody else has some more detailed ideas and can add some
comments.
What I am thinking about:
as there will be a space inside K3 (not having 100W and ATU unit),
what about to
- putting small power supply inside (13V/10A)
- putting small 28/144MHz 5W transvertor iside
all can be non-destructive using replacemnet for blind panel on the
place for fans on rear panel, TX/RX cables for transverter can be some
BNC jumpers from transverter panel, all other connectors also fitted
in "new" rear panel
removeing "new" panel and putting back of original one can return K3
to original state if later needed
Just ideas....
