Yes, I use a Shure 444D from time to time with mine (I usually use a cheap computer headset - which is very convenient and works very well!) and the audio reports with the 444D are awesome with all EQ values set to zero (default). Be sure to switch the 444D to the "Low Impedance" setting (bottom of mic) and adjust the K3's audio gain accordingly. If you get a 444 that is ONLY "High Impedance" (don't remember if the original 444 was switchable) - or - you don't set the switch on the bottom of the mic to "Low Impedance," - it will sound muddy, muffled and like crap!
Wire the mic plug as per the K3 manual.
