In the menus check which antenna is selected. In my case for some bands
it was AUX instead of ANT1 when rig first fired up.
You have to set this by band.

A long shot - do you have the KXV3 module installed, and might you perhaps
have accidentally switched the RX Antenna option on? This would route the
receive signal out one BNC and back in another, and if there was nothing
connecting them it would make the receiver pretty deaf.
