The list of what is and is not saved is on the Configuration tab page help within K3 Utility Help. If it is in the "not saved" list, you'll need to recalibrate/reconfigure that.
"Reset" (EE INIT) initializes just a couple of pages of EEPROM, and that is saved and restored by the K3 Utility.
