Seriously though, I think most of us ordered the KUSB out of convenience of not having to search out a USB to RS232 cable - it is not something everybody carries, rather than having to call and drive around looking for one.
I know if I went to order a $10.00 cable, it would have cost me another $20.00 just to get it into my hands - so I guess I'm out $10.00 in retrospect! hey...@#$#%$!
