Merv, I don't understand that logic. See Eric's post from 9:08 PM EST today. What is wrong with getting a fully updated DSP board with a full warranty to put into your SN 3000 K3. Who cares what the serial number of the K3 that board came from, it is a *new* board after it has been upgraded and fully tested - there is no difference. The board PC traces and the solder do not wear out.
