Replying to Mr. Fiterman--- There obviously are electronic voting methods available. I use a spreadsheet program often. How much brainpower is needed to put YES or NO and/or 1, 2, 3, etc. after the names of candidates ? Answer- miminal brainpower (noting however that many current nonvoters are functional or total illiterates). I note that lots of folks In the U.S. use bank ATM's and/or TV programing and/or point and click electronic games. There is widespread electronic voting right now--- a voter puts an electronic *X* after the name of a candidate or a YES/NO issue. Thus, electronic voting can be done right now if 100% security exists (such as making a paper record of each electronic vote).
