The reality is that the current electoral process gives frequent counter-intuitive results, and there isn't the slightest hint of revolution (at least not from that). --- D- ALL single winner methods have problems with 3 or more choices.
See Mr. Arrow's observations. The current electoral process in the U.S.A. (i.e. Plurality) produces lots of insincere voting and/or a number of minority rule winners (especially for legislative body gerrymander district elections).
