ideologies. However, are there any technical criteria for quantifying just how polarizing a candidate is? It would be interesting to evaluate how various election methods work in the presence of polarizing candidates. ---- D- Perhaps some election *basics* should be sent to each new person who signs up on this list -- ??? Is a single winner choice tolerable to a majority ??? [Absolute test] ALL the choices may be intolerable for some voters. Rankings only show relative support.
