You can try it with qemu-kvm . The first thing is to add some extra space to the image:
sudo dd if=/dev/zero of=MediaBox.i686-0.0.1.raw bs=1 count=1 conv=notrunc seek=3G and then started by: qemu-kvm MediaBox.i686-0.0.1.raw provided that MediaBox.i686-0.0.1.raw is the image.
