I had this feature enabled for a while but it just seemed so weird to have the whole menubar disappear (and how do you get it back if you do it by accident) that I turned it off. It seemed more like something appropriate for Windows and X platforms where the menubar is part of the window. But maybe it would be useful for "full-screen editing" situations?
