"Free world" is wording from RMS, so I expect it to be
deliberate.
We are free to change the wording though, while keeping the
general message.

I see 'free world' on that page, which is better than 'Free World'
but not as good as 'free software world', IMO.
I grew up during the Cold War, so 'Free World' evokes geopolitics
for me, rather than software engineering.
