While we are on the AOL subject, I have a question for you experts. I subscribe to a list for which the server does not accept enriched text posts, and frequently people using later versions of AOL on a PC have trouble with their mail being bounced. I have no personal experience with it, but I'm told that AOL has made it very difficult for the average user to send a post in plain text, and these people are freedivers rather than computer geeks, so many of them have a problem.
Is there some simple way to make AOL for PC send in plain text? If so, I'd appreciate learning about it so I could pass it along to those in difficulty. Please respond privately so as not to drown the list in any more off-topic posts than those I've already sent.
