They have to go into their AOL Prefs, look under Text or something like that (I forget what AOL calls it, but they are looking for where they can set their default email text specs). There should be a button to reset the text settings to the default. Press that button. Now... DO NOT alter the text settings under ANY circumstances. Not for viewing, not for composing, not for ANYTHING. As long as they never alter them from the default, AOL will send plain text emails when it is an original email composition. Bear in mind, forwarded, replied to, or other emails (anything not written from scratch), may still end up as HTML email, and there is NOTHING they can do to prevent it. I recommend, while they are at it in making this settings change, they send an email to AOL directly, requesting that in the next version of the AOL client, they put back in an nice easy choosable option to make all emails plain text and not HTML. -chris <http://www.mythtech.net> ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe send a mail message with a SUBJECT line of "unsubscribe" to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> or <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
