Probably from Cut and Paste. He probably isn't typing the address in, but rather cutting it from some email or other document it is listed in. Meanwhile, on the Mac, depending on what he is using to display the address (and thus cut from), a Line Feed character will not show up, so he won't know he is collecting it each time. A manual retype should clear this. If not, have him rebuild the database.
