Thanks for the Command-Shift-H tip. I did not know that one. Here is the
header. There is a bit too much info for me to make much sense out of. I
see that a person's email address is listed under the return when I view
he whole header. How does it work that I don't see a return address, and
when I hit reply, it shows a blank "to" field. But, the revealed header
shows an address to reply to. Would replying to that address and
complaining and asking to unsubscribe be useful? Is that address likely a
good one? Is my logic correct?

I used to use a spam complaint script with Emailer but it wasn't having
much of an impact. The X rated stuff has died down pretty much but the
gambling and group lotto and weight loss hawkers are more virulent than
ever.

Also some of these things, like netpal, say they are only here because I
gave them permission from a site I visited. Theoretically if it's a
legitimate site, asking to be taken off the list would actually work. But
I did that a couple weeks back with one site and I swear the very next
day I got two additional spammers on to my mailbox.

There are a couple of emails I really look forward to for price watches
and things which interest me. But all the rest of those unsolicited
advertisements, called spam, are a real pain in the tush.

PS - Hooray for Emailer for allowing me toot have to open web links when
I view mail if I don't want to. Outlook Express drove me nuts dialing up
the instant I clicked on a spam mail.
