I have found a couple of things that have decreased my spam to nothing. I was getting dozens of spam a day, and it was driving me crazy. I signed up for a mailshell account at <www.mailshell.com>. I have several addresses that I can use on line, and never give my real address away. That way if I start getting email at some address, I can use mailshells strong spam filter, or simply delete that address. The other thing I did that really helped, was that I changed my address from a simple address with my name to an address with my name plus a couple of numbers. I have an earthlink account. When I first signed up with a simple name address, I was getting 20 or 30 spam emails a day starting from the first day I signed up. I changed my address, and now I don't get any.
