Possibly a bad message. And if you are always seeing it with AOL, it is possible that yes, you ARE getting one every time (although REALLY unlikely... but because of the way AOL handles forwards, it trips a bug in Emailer if an email has been forwarded too many times). It is also possible that there is only one bad message, and it is still stuck in the temp incoming folder, and is what is constantly causing Emailer to fail to unpack. Have you manually removed the messages from that folder and seen if the problem goes away? >So under 9 it's an actual freeze/crash? Is there a fix? I've rebuilt >multiple times both simple deep rebuilds. When you get hit with this problem under OS 9 and earlier, you need to open the Temp Incoming folder in your Emailer Files folder, and remove the newest message in there. (Sort by date, take the top or bottom depending on your sort order). There is no fix for Emailer, but my Temp Reader will repair the two known sources of bad temp incoming files. It repairs the bad file so Emailer won't crash when unpacking it. You can download Temp Reader from my web site. Of course, Temp Reader will also just do what its name says, and read the file, and that may be enough that you don't need to repair it at all. -chris <http://www.mythtech.net> ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe send a mail message with a SUBJECT line of "unsubscribe" to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> or <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
