I don't know how to do it, or if it could be done, but, I was just thinking that it would be really great if someone, in the reengineering of Emailer would include the following trick...
Wouldn't it be nice if the window that is up while messages are downloading (only for us 56K folk, when I had DSL it almost always went too fast to care), the window that now has a "stop" button on it, also had a "Skip" button too? Right now if I get a really large piece of mail, usually spam, I can stop Emailer's download, launch MailSiphonII, delete it, return to downloading Emailer. Doable and better than nothing. But, wouldn't it be great if Emailer, version X, simply had added a skip button for just that message. The rest could be downloaded. And while we are at it, instead of skip, maybe it should be a delete button.
