Well the speed of course is not literal and (Yawn) it doesn't concern me
all that much. I usually get 49 to 51 as the Mac reports it. I don't
normally check unless it feels slow. Occasionally it hooks in at 29 or 33
but usually not. When very slow I simply disconnect and reconnect. Almost
never has it stayed slow for more than once, or twice.

I am trying it on 10K and so far it has caught a couple of messages that
I don't really mind getting. Perhaps I will play with raising it a bit.

PS this is TOTALLY not on topic or Emailer related at all but as this is
the conversation I am in at the moment I would say that I am really
bummed at the DC area sniper, who just tonight has struck again. This
time a lady who was finished shopping at a Home Depot and was loading her
items into her car, right beside her husband. One shot to the forehead
and she was no more. Lots of people in the parking lot and no witnesses
or description of the shooter - again. Last week a child. Black, white,
Hispanic, old, child, woman, man. Someone doesn't care in the least for
the victims and someone is very good.

Sorry to leave that brick here on this nice list. I just needed to shout
some frustration. This event was also relatively near where I live.
Helicopters have been around in the near distance for a while tonight.
Now, on to bed. Yeesh!

Dave
