That's a good idea. I had no idea that was available already. You are 
saying that once retrieved, the message window will give me an option to 
either complete the download - or delete it on the next connection? I 
will certainly give that a try.

Now as to the actual size of my messages. I want to figure out how large 
a "standard" message actually is. The only way I can think of to do this 
is to wait a day for my normally longest email, a daily price quote from 
, and use MailSiphonII to go and see how big that is before downloading 
it.

Unless someone has a good, educated guess on how to set this up? I find 
that some messages are long enough on a 56K line to take almost a minute 
to download. Some even longer. This is fortunately the exception but I am 
ready to set up the blocks...
