I'm not so sure about "ease of use" if that means conforming with the
rest of the internet world. I subscribe to a freedive list of about 600
divers from all over the world. The list server does not accept mail with
attachments, and it does not accept html mail. We have many subscribers
who are reduced to lurking without the capability of posting because they
upgraded one step too far with AOL and cannot figure out how to override
its perferences so that it sends plain text mail.
Its the technologically challenged ones who can't make it work, and only
the more sophisticated ones who can use it. It seems to me that is bass
awkwards. Its only easy to use if the rest of the world goes over to AOL.
