>John in NJ, with 90MB of mail and no regrets
Not wishing to start a bragging war, but I think my mail database (not
counting the index or anything in the Downloads folder - i.e.,
attachements) I'm a tad above 137.5 MB ;-)
Great points though - I'm sure there are a lot of Emailer users/former
users out there. Wasn't v.1.1.3 Lite included with the MacOS for a while
(somewhere around MacOS 8.5 or 8.6)? That alone introduced many people to
Emailer, besides those of us who started with the full 1.1.3 version and
then upgraded to 2.0, 2.0v.3, etc. With the Auto Log feature,
Applescripts and other CE features and add-ons (including Chris' Baton
Mail, which I haven't needed yet, but if my ISP goes SMTP authentication
I probably will), I am very satisfied with Emailer. Also, after using
some of those Applescripts to clean up some forwarded messages, I
realized how few of my Wintel-using friends can do (or know how to do) a
fraction of what Claris Emailer does regularly and easily. Yes, as a
Claris Emailer (2.0v.3) user, I am quite blessed... :-)

For those who find safety in numbers, Windows
is the safe, smart choice. For those who
simply want the best tool for the job, the
Mac is certainly worth consideration.
