I'm a long-time user of Emailer, and I've never had it send an open email
message. If there's a crash, however, that email message will not be open
upon restart, and will be sent (sometimes so fast that I can't catch it).
If this were not the case, this email would have been sent before I
finished it, since a connection just happened in the middle of typing
this message.
Of course, I'm commenting only on OS 9.x, since I've never used OS X.
