Hi all: I have just developed a perplexing problem.
After reading the Updater thread, I decided to Stuff my Emailer app/files in case of future calamities. To do so I moved my Claris Folder to the desktop, selected all, created a duplicate and put the original back where it is always filed under Internet Applications>Internet>Mac HD. (I also created a duplicate of the Claris>System>HD folder.) I then created the .sit file, unstuffed it to see if it worked and trashed the unstuffed copy. I am pretty sure I didn't do any more fooling around!!:-} All seemed well as everything was as usual until I had to reboot this morning and the "Mail" icon in the Startup folder opened me into a fresh Emailer (with set up box)with no addresses or mail showing. I went to the Internet Control Panel and "reselected" the proper file and rebooted again but to no avail - I keep getting a new Emailer with no DB. I _can_ access my DB by simply double clicking the Claris icon in its folder - it is just the Mail icon that is confused.
