What version of OSX, Emailer and OS9 are you using again? I use Claris Emailer 2.0v3 under OSX 10.2.6 Classic (OS9.2.2) quite successfully. I even use Dan's Emailer Archive 3.0 with FileMaker 5.5 without problems with the AppleScript. I did a search on "Drop.Fat.App" and go this from MacInTouch.com: """Date: Fri, 30 Mar 2001 09:23:48 -0500 From: Bill Coleman Subject: Emailer v2.03 and Classic You posted two notes today from people who are running Claris Emailer under Classic with MacOS X. However, both failed to mention which version of Emailer they were running. For me, Emailer v2.03 fails to launch under Classic with MacOS X 10.0 build 4K78. I get a wierd error message. The MacOS X console has the following error: "*** CFLog (20): /Volumes/MacOS/Applications (Mac OS 9)/Claris Emailer/ Claris Emailer[267] Application Launch Failure: The application "Claris Emailer" could not be launched because of a shared library error: ",<Drop\ u2022Fat App><Drop\u2022Fat App><InterfaceLib><>" Error preparing app Claris Emailer, <Drop?Fat App><Drop?Fat App>< InterfaceLib><> Launch failed with error code -2804" This is some kind of CFM error. Odd that it runs fine in MacOS 9. I'm an Apple developer, and have reported this bug to the Apple bug reporter (ID: 2661936). If any other developers are having this problem, I hope they would report it as well. If anyone has any information on how to make Emailer run under Classic, I'd appreciate hearing from them. Lack of Emailer, and no reasonable substitute is holding me back from MacOS X."""
