hi Doug, Viruses are sort of like graffiti. It's against the law, it looks bad, and it affects a lot of people who aren't directly targeted. Both also serve as media to gain notoriety.
If you can figure out how to eliminate graffiti, you're well on track to getting rid of computer viruses as well.
