Yes it can but what it can't do is connect when running under Classic in 
OS X. If you're on a dial-up, you have to have some way of having 
Internet Connect dial up and connect to the ISP before you've got CE 
scheduled to check mail. That's what I want to do with Applescript. There 
is a "connect script" in Internet Connect's library, but I lack the 
knowlege of Applescript to make it work on a period basis depending on 
time of day.
