Andy, IIRC that just means that Emailer hasn't recognized that your ISP has the email quickly enough. As I recall from someone's prior post on this list, it isn't a real problem - unless SBC has dropped your connection (in which case, the mesage wouldn't have gone through). I also have SBC and have noticed that they will sometimes (after I've been online for a while) drop the connection. I think it's because SBC changes the IP (dynamically assigned when you sign on) every so often, and if you're still on, SBC drops the connection. When that (rarely) happens to me, I just use the Remore Access Control Panel and reconnect. I'm assuming you are using MacOS 9.x or possibly earlier, and not OS X.x - correct?
