We went thru this a while back with another list member. It was tracked to sbc closing the server connection before Emailer was expecting it to. As a result Emailer reports a network stream error. This is technically an SBC bug because the server isn't waiting for the all clear to close the connection. However, realistically, its an Emailer bug because Emailer should have the brains to realize that it issued a QUIT command, got a successful OK response, and was simply finalizing the TCP transaction. In other words, Emailer should realize the email was sent successfully, and thus an error should not be reported. Fortunately, IIRC, Emailer does in fact mark the emails in question as successfully sent, so it is 100% safe to simply ignore the log error. I know having the error log icon blinking in the toolbar is annoying, but that just seems to be the only option. For what it is worth, I believe SBC fixed this problem on their own last time, so they may fix it again this time. Or its possible the other list member who was having the problem has moved on to OS X only and left Emailer and so hasn't raised the issue recently ;-) -chris <http://www.mythtech.net> ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe send a mail message with a SUBJECT line of "unsubscribe" to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> or <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
