I would also recommend moving the Emailer preference file to the Emailer folder before going to X. Same level as the Emailer app. Not critical, but makes sure your prefs work, and if you need to reinstall Classic, won't hurt your emailer configs.
And Don't open the temp folder in X! otherwise, it just works.
