I just received a message from CitiBank with the information that their customers are being acccessed for identity theft and they provide an URL for me to contact to register and confirm my banking details, etc. However the URL did not work and I went to their Home site and found an email address to report fraud messages, etc. I tried to do a Copy of the email address but it was in faint blue and would not copy. So I hand typed a Forward to the address but have not sent it. When I did the Forward there was a weird message at the bottom of the email that was not on the original. How can Emailer put in a message that was blank to begin with?
I called my ISP and they told me to go ahead and send it to the CitiBank email address I got from the Web site but I'm still leary and wondering what to do. Any advice will be appreciated.
