Hi y'all, I did my annual "typical rebuild" of my 55mb data base (version 2.0v3) before copying the entire Emailer File folder (and prefs!) to my backup iBook, which already had 2 copies of Emailer. One copy is used by my wife, and the other is there for times like this, when my primary iBook goes to the shop. I swapped my Emailer Files folder and prefs into the copy 2 of Emailer (and the other copy also has its prefs in the Emailer folder. Alls well except:
When I start up my copy of Emailer, there is a 7 second delay in starting up. The delay starts just after the tool bar (actually just an empty outline of it) forms, before the browser shows up. During these 7 seconds the entire computer freezes (clock doesn't move) and then all is fine. The only other oddity is that when in the browser I change ordering from Date to From/To, the delay is about twice as long as usual, which has always had an about 4-5 second delay. Just in case, I did another data base rebuild, but noticed no reduction in the start up delay. Any ideas? -Gabriel __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam?
