Emailer doesn't insist on encoding... mail servers insist that file attachments are encoded. If you are using Thunderbird to send attachments, then go back to Emailer, and each time you would use Thunderbird, select Base64 from the popup menu for Encoding: (where it normally says Service Default). Thunderbird is also encoding file attachments, it is just using Base64 instead of what is probably your default in Emailer of either BinHex (default on an account when it is setup), or AppleDouble (what most people change the default to). But trust me, Thunderbird is indeed encoding those attachments. There is no choice, you have to if you are going to send an 8 bit file to a 7 bit mail server. -chris <http://www.mythtech.net> ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe send a mail message with a SUBJECT line of "unsubscribe" to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> or <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
