I am running Classic in OS 9.1 on my Pismo Powerbook with OS X 10.3.8 and it works fine so far with the exception of telling me that I should update to 9.2.2 every time I start up. On my desktop I have quit using Classic since I switched from CE to Gyazmail a couple of months ago. Gyazmail doesn't have all the features that many on the list want but for my purpose it is better than any other of the several clients I have tried. It is much faster than CE in Classic and is very flexible once you get into the multiple preferences available. I am using it in the 2 pane mode and it behaves much like CE as far as moving though unread emails. The rules for sorting incoming and outgoing emails are the best that I have tried but I must admit that I haven't tried every client out there. So far it has been totally reliable, unlike several other clients. Right now I am archiving my mail in zipped mbox format so that I can open the archives up in any client that can open standard mbox files. It is very simple to archive all of my folders in one simple operation and it is very fast by my standards. S.
