Hi all emailer die hard users,
(that includes us)
Well, don't know if anyone else noticed this or not, but we'd run into
problems lately in starting a few days ago when we noticed that
sbcglobal.net (which is yahoo) now requires authentification of incoming
and outgoing and also port number issuing.

email account from sbcglobal has to be set at:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
Now that emailer cannot even find "sbcglobal.net". For a few days, we
cannot send email out via CE, but we could using the web base method
(slow slow slow). Now we cannot even receive email (found that out
today). I think their techs are making lots of changes on their servers
lately.
Well, anyhow, as everyone else says, our settings also used to work fine
(very well) on Claris eMailer. Now that sbcglobal.net account is not
working, and none of our gmail account can be used on emailers, we are
kind of discouraged as we have all email just accumulating on emailer, we
can always find them when we need to, but looks like it's time to migrate
to - Entourage?
Just looking for one email program on Mac (Prefer both OS 9 and OS X)
that can do text email by setting, and not force to use email in html.
If more and more ISP's are requiring authentification (to block spams,
etc.) then emailer is really outdated (but such a nice program).
Please let us know if there's any possible work around out there?
Just want to hang on to CE as long as we can (for that reason, we still
use machines with OS 9).
