We thought so too, but the "connection" window is opened, and we see no indication of any kind, and it just check and become Idle, as if there's just no new email. But we can see the new email (in bold face) when we login from Internet Explorer (horrible interface from the web base they provide, slow slow slow). We try testing it, we sent email to the SBC account, web will see the new email, CE will not. Run Entourage, and it can fetch all new email. Frustrating. SBC web site has settings for SMTP and POP. We tried both, and "pop.sbcglobal.yahoo.com" will not allow us to send email using SBC account, only the "smtp.sbcglobal.yahoo.com" setting will allow us to send email out, but none of them will allow us to fetch any new email, as if someone at the server says all emails are read by CE already.
