I'm not exactly sure if this is relevant or not with your problems with 
sending emails when one is traveling, but www.hotpop.com does provide one 
with free eddresses, POP accounts, and SMTP sending, all of which works 
with Emailer.  It does NOT have free webmail access.  It would seem that 
one could send emails from other than one's regular ISP account.
