RE: deleting downloads, in the olden days, I would just go into the Downloads folder and select and trash everything before a certain date. I'm a college prof, and I get a lot of student and colleague papers emailed to me, and it's sometimes handy to be able to go back and retrieve something from months back. I _like_ having old stuff hanging around, in case I need to rummage around and find it again. But even I eventually do a clean-out and trash old stuff.
Question: I know that messing around inside the Temp Incoming folder leads to the ".DS_Store file problem." Would snooping around inside the Downloads folder lead to something similar, or is it still OK to do that? My, we have been a busy little list lately, haven't we?! How interesting that this dinosaur era software lives on! CE lives!
