I have a copy of the 1.0.1 demo I can send you, but I REALLY don't think
it will be a fair comparison to what MailSmith can do today. I suspect
the 1.0.1 version is so far off of the current release, that it probably
isn't even worth trying out.

If you don't plan to use it any time soon, and just want to see what it
is like, I'd not only skip the 1.0.1 version that I have, but I'd also
not bother at all with trying it out. I'd wait until you are much closer
to actually wanting to switch to a new email client. Anything you learn
about it today probably won't apply 6 months from now.

If you just want to learn about it, I'd check out the screen shots BB has
on their web site, and possibly join the MailSmith discussion list and
ask a few questions.

I really have a feeling, looking at the 1.0.1 version as a reference for
a current version of MailSmith will be similar to looking at Emailer 1.x
as a reference to Emailer 2.x... they are two totally different beasts.
It has been so long since I tried the 1.0.1 version of MailSmith that I
can't say how different the current version is, but I really think it
will be pretty different.
