Mark A new version of Expander, v11 has recently been released and the uptake seems to be steady. However quite a few OSXers haven't bothered to update much earlier versions of Stuffit and Expander. Personally I doubt that is the sole cause of the problem described. Do they solely relate to messages with attachments?
When we have experienced similar duplications + attachment corruption it has proved to be an ISP server fault, more likely to occur with cable than with ADSL here in UK for some reason. Seems they don't register the successful transmission, or more accurately flag receipt of the first set of messages. Not an Emailer problem we concluded, as it has also cropped up in other stable clients like PowerMail. Good luck . . .
